A 4.1.4 system is comprised of four main speakers—front left, front right, rear left, and rear right—plus a subwoofer and four overhead speakers mounted the ceiling. The ceiling speakers are responsible for producing height-based audio, creating a more complete sense of three-dimensional space.
This format is ideal for dedicated theater rooms where ceiling mounting is possible, offering rich surround sound with precise vertical effects for a highly immersive experience.

Overhead (Height) | Placed in or near the ceiling. They add a sense o fheight to the sound--like a plane overhead.
